The Biochemistry Department of the Institute of Chemistry, University of São Paulo has 38 full time, doctoral level, faculty members dedicated to cutting-edge research in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Studies are conducted in state-of-the-art laboratories, and involve the participation of 57 undergraduate students, 131 graduate students, 36 research assistants and 32 post-doctoral fellows.
